This large sculpture in reinforced concrete tinted in the mass is a satire of the desire for power of so-called advanced societies over so-called primitive societies. The main structure, composed of a large couple forming the A of Africa, is beset by a multitude of small characters whose function and precarious balance humorously symbolize various human characteristics.
