Very nice, easy to reach and totally free.
Perfectly preserved workers' village, consisting of the factory (now closed), all the shops (bakery, ice cream parlor, etc.), the old wash houses, and the houses of the workers still inhabited. The church, the main castle and the adjacent cemetery are also very beautiful.
It can be visited all year round, there are no timetables, and it is free; absolutely worth a visit.

Recommended! village that can be visited completely free of charge (with the exception of the factory which is closed for safety reasons). To see the old wash houses, the cemetery (impressive ..), the church and the village made up of workers' houses still inhabited and perfectly maintained.

Villaggio operaio di Crespi d'Adda, located in the municipality of Capriate San Gervasio (Bergamo), is a true ideal "company town". It was founded starting in 1877 by the enlightened industrialist Cristoforo Benigno Crespi to house the workers of his cotton mill. Since 1995, it has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage list, as it represents the best-preserved workers' village in all of Southern Europe.
