The "Bollenbergs" were blown up by storms after the last ice age, during which large quantities of sand were deposited. In summer, stonecrop, sandy thyme and maple pink blossom on the meager grass. From the dune you look into the wide Sude-Niedung (NSG Elbe-Sude-Niederung). In the Elbe Valley there are more dunes at Geesthacht, Stixte and Klein Schmölen. Attention: The dune is located at Gothmann / Boizenburg, Elbseite opposite!

The beautiful dune can be seen from afar. It is definitely worth climbing it and enjoying the great view of the surrounding nature from the top of the bench.
