Hiking

There is a plaque commemorating the Freisinger Tor, also known as the Moos Gate, on a house facade at Langen Zeile 25, opposite the Café Krönauer. During the Thirty Years' War it was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt by the Swedes. The demolition took place in 1871 due to dilapidation. The gate was part of the old ring wall around Erding and one of a total of 4 city gates. The weather vane of the tower can be viewed in the Erdinger Museum.
