The Seedorf manor house was built in 1697 under Hans Blome, and the building was expanded through extensive renovations around 1750 under the princes of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. The classicist building reached its final state in 1829. The interior still contains the beautiful rococo stucco and classicist wall paintings.

The estate, which is still partially preserved today, with the gatehouse, the manor house, the orangery and the rampart was created in the 15th and 16th centuries by the Blome family. From the Seedorf estate with the gatehouse and the manor house, the avenues with linden and oak trees, some of which are over 300 years old, lead in a star shape to the individual districts of the municipality
