Information:
The Holy Way was created in connection with the canonization of Bishop Benno of Meissen. It led from Bohemia to Meissen and ran between Grillenburg and Wilsdruff in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district, parallel to the Saxon Way of St. James, but in the opposite direction. An original section has been preserved, among other places, in the Tharandt Forest between Grillenburg and Spechtshausen.
