The Glaver Koppel is one of the older areas of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide nature park. You cannot see the entire shore of the lake from here, as a small section of forest covers the field of view thanks to reforestation measures.
Here a narrow path runs directly through the forest to the lake shore. The “Seeadler” lookout tower is right on the shore. If you are lucky, you can even watch a few white-tailed eagles hunting from there.
