The local mill roundabout has been a historical landmark on the outskirts of Heppenheim since 2020.
The location of the mill roundabout was deliberately chosen. It lies on the Erbach River, and not far away, five grain mills, two oil mills, and a gristmill once operated at various mill sites in the Erbach Valley.
On the busy B3, on the small hill of the roundabout, the mill artwork, made of a stainless steel body with turquoise paddle boards, is an attractive eye-catcher as you drive past...🚴♂️
