Nordic walking

The fairy tale of the cat with magical powers appeared in the Brothers Grimm's first edition of the Children's and Household Tales of 1812. The story is still very popular with young and old alike. Puss in Boots gained increased popularity through various children's films. According to a note by Wilhelm Grimm, he apparently took over the fairy tale orally from Jeanette Hassenpflug. Due to the similarity to Le Maître Chat ou le Chat botté by Charles Perrault, which appeared in 1697, he revised the story and developed it further.
