I would drive around the area to the south and avoid the coast here, there are much better and quieter routes if you want to drive on the coast. Inland it is also very beautiful!
Some of the nasty places west of Döhnsdorf have now been thoroughly cleaned and straightened a bit, the pictures without green are no longer up-to-date.
