Hiking
At the highest point, the sand dunes are up to 30m high.
This is a tourist attraction. Plants that can only be found in sandy soils grow here, for example the Scleranthus annuus in June, but off-road vehicles and quads are still allowed to drive here. The whole area is criss-crossed by vehicle tracks. But this at least ensures that the pines that were planted in the 1960s do not spread any further.
