Ausserbraz is a district of the municipality of Bludenz in Vorarlberg. The place is located about five kilometers as the crow flies from the Bludenz town border and borders directly on the municipality of Innerbraz. Ausserbraz, like the Bludenz districts of Bings and Radin, belongs to the Klostertal and not to the Walgau, like the town of Bludenz.

The name Braz originates from the Latin "prates" – meadow. Ausserbraz is often referred to collectively with the municipality of Innerbraz as "Braz" for historical reasons, although "Braz" is sometimes used only for the municipality of Innerbraz.
