The plague passed Lambach in 1713. So Abbot Maximilian Pagl carried out his vow and had the Holy Trinity Church built between 1714 and 1725. The Linz master builder Johann Michael Prunner is responsible for the magnificent building, artists such as Martino Altomonte and Carlo Carlone designed the interior.
