Hiking
The Hageven forms a whole with the Dutch De Plateaux and lies between the valley of the Dommel and dry sandy soils. The Hageven is also the name of one of the fens of the area that is somewhat wetter in Belgium than in the Netherlands despite the flood meadows in the Netherlands. This is mainly due to the fact that the Dommel valley partly occupies the Hagevennen and the presence of a few fens.
