Somewhat hidden behind the fenced area of the striking yellow radar tower, you will find one of the few accessible sections of the Weser beach. Very nice for a stop on a bike tour!

A round, yellow steel tower with a round, yellow floor in the upper third. The top of the steel mast forms a radio relay antenna. The radar station, along with seven other stations, forms the land-based radar chain for the Weser River.
