A break at the Buddhist (!) Bakery in Päwesin is a must on any tour in the area! The quality of their products and the huge selection especially of cakes and particles is absolutely unique; especially in this wilderness of bakery art. On top of that, the staff is always friendly, even if the queue is again down to the street. tashi-choeling.de/backwahn.html

"Backwahn" The Bakery
This small shop, built by our monastery school, has created numerous jobs in economically underdeveloped rural areas. These jobs particularly benefit our ordained sangha, who have to support themselves just as much as lay people.
We have noticed that the people of Päwesin and the surrounding area have grown very fond of this shop and enjoy the fact that the displays are brimming with products whenever they visit. The uniquely rich selection of bread, cakes, and much more, made by dedicated hands, now delights visitors from far and wide.
