Whoever is around here should take the Kammweg or the Ith Hills Trail as it is called on the signs. The official ridge path runs a little way away from the edge, but there are always branches to the edge of the rock, where it then goes steeply down. You should treat yourself to these views and impressions at least at regular intervals, unless you want to run on the edge.
