The Dortmund-Ems Canal (DEK, water code: 70501) is a canal structure, a federal waterway between the Dortmund city harbor and Papenburg/Ems in the federal states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. The waterways and shipping authorities West German Canals to Gleesen and Ems-Nordsee to Papenburg are responsible for administration.
