Currently (August 2023) you have to pay 7 euros for 4 hours or 11 euros per day, you can't go for less. It's at the limit of what you can bear. My tip: private parking at Gamrig (3 euros per day, trust fund, reasonable). For the 8 euros you save, you can treat yourself to a goulash and a beer at Hermann's in Rathen. If you want to hike anyway and don't just want to quickly get to the Bastei viewpoint, this is the alternative.
