The Ritterstein 152 PWV (PWV Ritterstein 152) commemorates the forest boundaries. Border tours were held every ten years, marching from boundary stone to boundary stone with a band and drummers. Participants were led past the most important boundary stones and were "spiked," meaning they were hit on the buttocks with a wooden board.
