Road cycling
This pass, just over 1,500 meters high, is truly wonderful in every respect. The ascent is via small roads with very little traffic, but with many great views – the best of both worlds, so to speak. At the top, you'll find less tourist hustle and bustle than on other more prominent passes. Therefore, you can enjoy the view into the valley here particularly relaxed. Unfortunately, there is no supply point.

A pass that has to be earned, with steep slopes over several kilometers on the Virieu-le-Petit side!
Still on this side, after the very high percentages of forest, the summit is revealed little by little, to finally offer a magnificent view of the Jura, the Alps and Lake Bourget. On a clear day, Mont Blanc can be seen.
On the Culoz side, the bends also offer a superb view of Lake Bourget.
A real nice climb, which certainly rivals the big names in the Alps and Pyrenees.
