The Castle Church in Lahm is an outstanding example of a Protestant margrave church and is considered one of the most important Baroque religious buildings in Upper Franconia. It was built between 1728 and 1732 under the direction of the renowned architect Balthasar Neumann, who was also responsible for many other magnificent buildings in southern Germany, including the Würzburg Residence.
The church is directly integrated into the former Lahm Castle and forms an architectural unit with the preserved castle wings. Its oval floor plan is particularly impressive. The organ by Johann Philipp Seuffert dates from 1732.
