The Guben – Zbąszynek railway line runs mainly in the Lubusz Voivodeship in western Poland. The eastern section between Zbąszynek and Czerwieńsk is electrified. The western section between Guben and Czerwieńsk is only used for freight traffic and is not electrified. The Guben–Zbąszynek railway line runs through the picturesque landscape of the Lubusz Voivodeship in western Poland. The structure of the bridge, whose pillars were once intended for a second track, is particularly impressive. While the eastern section of the line has already been electrified, the western part between Guben and Czerwieńsk is now only used for freight traffic. This disused line gives the feeling that time has stood still here and gives an idea of the former importance of the connection.
