These tunnels and bunkers continued to be used by the Bundeswehr after the World War. The high maintenance costs of the bunker tubes were ultimately responsible for the fact that this facility was abandoned in 1980.
This emergency exit, which leads down 36 meters, belongs to the right LS tunnel system, both of whose entrances lead from Westendstrasse into the mountain.
