The fountain stands a little off the path at the former site of the Lorenz Hut, which unfortunately burned down in 1987. The water is drinkable.

The fountain trough is broken and is next to the fountain. But the water is still flowing - and there is a bench on which you can sit comfortably and comfortably. It is quiet except for the splashing of the water, shady and very pleasant for a short rest.
