The Meloner Au is more than just a moor. Rather, it is a mix of different raised, transitional and low moors that are spread over a quiet forest area. This strange natural landscape with its mossy bog forests and wet open areas near Altmelon is a unique and internationally significant bog complex! In summer and autumn, the nature reserve can be experienced on a hiking trail.
