Hiking
This building was first mentioned as a brewery as early as 1540 and was used as such for around 200 years. After a change of ownership in 1754, a wine and liquor store was established here, which existed until 1972. Since 1997 it has been a brewery again, namely a pub brewery that brews the beers for the serving in the Mälzer Brau- und Tafelhaus itself.

The building at Heiligengeiststraße 43 was first mentioned as a brewery in 1540.
In 1754, the house came into the possession of the Crato family.
Jacob Crato founded the Crato wine shop here in 1763.
At the end of 1972, the owners ceased trading in wines and spirits.
The Mälzer Brewery & Tavern has been operating here since autumn 1997.
