You can already follow the former railway line from the Lohfelden outdoor pool, with short interruptions. The gravel path marked here is mostly tree-covered, making it perfect for escaping the summer city heat. At the top of the Endstadtion, today the village community center, there are places to rest and play.
Afterwards you could, for example, go back towards Lohfelden/Kassel on the other side of the valley via Vollmarshausen or continue with the MTB or gravel bike to the Söhrewald.
