Hiking

With 2'516 m.ü.M. the summit is slightly higher than the one marked on the map. If you want to go further, the path continues below the summit, then climb the slope to the second summit (very steep). You can then walk down the ridge (unmarked footpath) until you reach the Cantonill junction (1'933 m above the top of Campo Blenio). Children should be partially taken on short rope.

Classic summit, especially in the winter months: the Pizzo di Cadrèigh is often climbed by beginners or ski touring courses, as it does not present any particular difficulties. From the Capanna Bovarina it goes up through the wide Valle di Campo, which rises quite gently with hills and knolls, to its end at the Passo di Gana Negra. From here a steeper final section leads to the pre-summit (2516 m), which is preferred to the main summit (2511 m) in winter.
