The small air and Schrothkurort was once an Austrian "Eldorado" for prospectors. Numerous historical buildings still bear witness to its former importance as the administrative center of gold mining in the Hohe Tauern. Today you visit the place rather because of its tourist treasures. Castles, gorges and wild waters attract many guests. The Alpe-Adria bike path leads through the village and while you take a break, you can watch kayakers and rafting while practicing their sport.
