Cycling

Like the bathing lake in Neermoor (komoot.de/highlight/726650), the blue lagoon was created after the sand was extracted for the motorway to Emden. The specialty here is the turquoise blue color, which results from the mineral composition of the gravel. A real eye-catcher.

It is a Kieskule, which was created during the construction of the highway. The water has a turquoise-blue color, like a lagoon in the Mediterranean Sea.
