Hiking
The three spring streams originate west of Eicherscheid and flow from beech hedges through a still used pasture area. The main stream flows through a notched valley with remnants of natural slopes and riparian forest. Slate rocks line up locally. The species-rich creek fauna indicates good water quality. The banks are lined with alder, ash, maple and hornbeam. The northern slope of the lower reaches is forested with approximately 150 years old beech trees.
