The 360-degree viewpoint is located on a platform built on top of a blown-up West Wall bunker. To the northwest you have an overview of the entire Schneifel mountain range. There, at an altitude of 697 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the North Eifel Nature Park, the "Black Man".
