Hiking
The ruins of a former high medieval aristocratic castle with its impressive former outer gatehouse (now a residential building) are a nice change during the hike. This was once the ancestral home of Ulrich von Königstein.

Hiking
Unfortunately, the sparse remains of the castle cannot be visited, the former outer gatehouse is now a residential building. Parts of the wall can still be seen.

Hiking
Not much can be seen of this once mighty castle complex. Plus private land. So for friends of castles not a real starting point
