You can start your ascent from lots of directions but the most common starting point is Tarland, a village to the south. The going is fairly gentle and the hillside is open moorland once you get above the forestry plantations. Pressendye is a particularly family-friendly ascent and great for those who are new to hillwalking.
When you reach the summit, you’ll find a trig pillar and a large shelter cairn. Fine weather treats you to sweeping views over Lower Deeside, to Morven in the south west and the peaks of the Cairngorms rising behind.

Apparently, the Grahams are now referred to as Fionas, which are hills between 2000-2500 feet. Named after Fiona Torbet (nee Graham), who came up with the list.

The route also incorporates sections of the well-regarded Tarland Trails, known for their expertly designed flow, berms, and jumps.
This loop is generally accessible, but be ready for varied surfaces like minor roads, tracks, and natural singletrack. Completing the full distance requires good fitness and advanced riding skills, as some parts might even require you to push your bike. Make sure your mountain bike is in excellent condition to handle both the natural and purpose-built features you will encounter.
