Already in the 7th century, the first Christians came to Halver and probably around the year 800 there was a small church or chapel at the present location. The Reformation took in 1583 the date Roman Catholic. Local community. The Reformed community built this new building in the years 1776-1783. In the Weltwartwerrren, as usual, the bells were melted down for cannon bronze - even some organ pipes did not escape this fate. Today the church has new bells and the organ shines in old splendor.
