Very nice hike. Take the wide, stony track that keeps climbing for the Saut du Goat and don't take the path that runs along the river, the wooden barricade closed on certain days by the way?!?!. Saut du Goat: beautiful place between the rocks with a beautiful waterfall. You have to earn it. The descent is then along the river. More sporty in places on the rock face by a 🐐 path.

At the start, the path along the river being closed, wooden barricade padlocked, it was necessary to turn left and go up by the very stony track. Quite significant difference in altitude and lengthened route, in total almost 16 kms. On the descent of the other side of the river, path of 🐐, numerous successive differences in altitude, and some steep "rock" passages. Very beautiful hike. Freshness guaranteed.

Community farm at the gateway to the Caramy Gorges, a great place to recharge your batteries. There are plenty of places to relax and a central bar where you can eat or drink. There's also a parking spot in exchange for a coin or a donation for the animals on site. You can cool off in the river just behind the bar. You can also pitch your tent. Good community farm, very friendly place.

Caution: We recommend only walking as far as the beautiful view. After that, the descent becomes very difficult. We were there in April, and the path down in the valley was barely passable due to the river and its strong current. The water was leg-deep in places, and the paths hadn't been used for a long time. At the end, there was a long dirt road with lots of mud. It's definitely better in the summer :)
