Carlux and its castle: calm and authenticity

The beach itself is sandy until the water begins. After that there are pebbles in the water, and bathing shoes make bathing easier. The beach is obviously also popular with dog owners. If you come by car, the parking lot is here. To be on the safe side, take mosquito repellent with you. https://maps.app.goo.gl/oNzQkzkhAobvg4Lu8?g_st=ic

Carlux is a small village in the Dordogne, was an important seat in the Middle Ages, including the presence of a tenth-century castle ruins that are still free to visit. Nice view of the surroundings from here. The former vicomte is certainly something for lovers of old stones and history.
