The former Johanniter Commandery Tobel has a history of almost 800 years. The buildings have been empty since 1973. In 2006, the newly founded Komturei Tobel Foundation took over the property from the canton. Like many other foundations with historical substance, our foundation also experienced complicated times. Today it operates with a small, "creative" board of trustees, modest means and a clear, confident view of the future.
