This is apparently the center of the Zellertal community and you have a (somewhat limited) beautiful view up to Zell. The text on the triangular information board on this triangular table reads: "Three villages = one community, that is Zellertal: Niefernheim, Harxheim, Zell. This rest area is roughly in the middle of the three villages. It was set up by the Zellertal trade association. [...] The Zellertal has a very characteristic geology. Limestone and marl are typical components of the soil. Together with the microclimate, very dry and warm, always well ventilated, this creates a terroir that gives the Zellertal wines their very own character. The piles of field stones, limestone of course, can be found on many field edges. They come to the surface when ploughing and have to be sorted out again every year."

The Schwengel fountain actually works, and the water is not wasted, but is channeled into a small stream. It is not drinking water. If you go further up the slope, you will find many flowering meadows that the people of Mölsheim do not mow down for the benefit of the insects.
