It's the Kronprinzenbrücke, the central Werre River crossing in Löhne. It leads directly into the so-called "traffic-calmed zone" of Lübbecker Straße (a peculiar mixture of pedestrian zone and car access route), Löhne's main shopping street. The view of the historic stone arch bridge from the west is unfortunately somewhat obscured by a pipeline running parallel to it.

Addition Instead of the dam, a stone slide will take over the function here. Fish will be able to use this to swim, absorbing current.

The Werre is a 72 km long river that flows relatively calmly here, as it is dammed by a weir at the Sielpark and then diverted in a controlled manner. Except for the busy bicycle traffic, it's an idyllic place for a walk. Pedestrians have also carved out a trail near the river.

The bridge offers a beautiful view of the Werre on both sides. The bridge takes you directly into the small town center with an ice cream parlor and snack bars.
