This section is accessible to bikes although the barriers are closed to prevent cows from escaping, there is a specific passage at each barrier to allow passage, albeit a bit narrow for bikes.

When we passed through, we encountered two closed cattle barriers, one of which we had to cross by passing the bikes over it because we couldn't open it, and then a red and white barrier indicating that it was private property and that we could not pass. We therefore stopped following this very pretty path.

There are plenty of free ferries for both bikes and cars. They run quickly and the boatmen are friendly. I think there are eight ferries in total. ☺
