Nice small train station. Enough space to take a break. From there you can hike or cycle on paved/asphalted paths to the lime kilns and the Roman sites and excavations. The station is also located right in the village. Supplies are available in Nettersheim.

Beautiful old Roman spring. A good place to take a break in summer, as there is usually shade. A good shelter is located nearby.

When I'm hiking around Marmagen, I like to stop for a bite to eat. The cake is delicious, and in the summer I especially love their ice cream cake.

The little detour from the main trail was worth it. I was drawn to it by the marked highlight. It's also a nice place to take a break.

At the Stargazing "Journey Through Time" exhibit, you can learn a ton about space and everything else. A Polaris finder points the way to the North Star, the light from the Andromeda Galaxy takes 2.5 million years to reach Earth, and the world's first paid female astronomer lived 300 years ago 👍.
