From the hiking trail, which runs slightly above Lake Östra Stenjön, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the water. In some places, heather bushes grow, adding splashes of color when the season is right.

A picturesque hiking trail winds its way through a sparse, green coniferous forest and along Lake Langsjön. Glimpses of the lake can be caught time and again through the gaps between the tree trunks.

Good place to stay overnight. Shelter, a good place for a tent if the shelter is fully occupied (the popular hike trail Sörmlandsleden passes here), a privy and a possibility to take a bath in the lake. And some hundred meters away a well with fresh water. Beautiful surroundings in the Henaredalens nature reserv.

The paths were very muddy after the rain and in some places we were knee-deep in water. Still, it's a nice round

Great shelter next to a really lovely lake. The shelter is located just by the water with easy access for swimming. There is a fireplace and some benches. Just 200m along the trail south of the shelter is an outhouse. To the east is a high peak with a stunning view over the lake. Seems to be a popular spot.

The hiking trail passes right by the lake here, a bit elevated, and offers a good view. The western direction climbs up to an even better view. Not much open or flat ground here with hills and rocky sections surrounding the trail.

The view from up here is amazing! The climb along the path from the south side is steep and somewhat challenging, but it's worth it!

There is a water source here, but the water level seemed too low. May be fine sometimes depending on the season, but does not seem super reliable.
