The observation tower in Wismar's Bürgerpark is a striking landmark of the park, offering impressive panoramic views of the Hanseatic city and its surroundings. It was built as part of the 2002 State Garden Show and, with its modern steel structure, blends harmoniously into the green surroundings. The tower is approximately 37 meters high, with a viewing platform at a height of approximately 28 meters. A freestanding spiral staircase with intermediate landings leads to the top, where a sweeping view of the Bürgerpark, the Bay of Wismar, and the rolling Mecklenburg hills opens up. On a clear day, the view even extends as far as the Baltic Sea.
