Behind the last farmhouse on the left in the direction of Schönfeld, a little-used path leads to the stone bridge that crosses the Stepenitz. Behind this bridge, a path leads right past the Stepenitz and Wendelstorfer to Wendelstorf and then on to the entrance to Dalberg. The path is also easily passable by bike.

The Johanniter Church is located near the shore of the Groß Eichsener See. This brick church is one of the larger village churches that can be found here in Mecklenburg. This stately village church was built in the first half of the 14th century. The mighty three-storey west tower was built in the 15th century. The St. John's Cross can be seen on its roof. In the church there are remains of ornamental grisaille painting, which are believed to date from the 17th century.
