A small shelter offers a table and electric charging facilities. A public toilet is available. I summertime, a small kiosk offers ice cream, snacks and beverages. It opens before the ferry is leaving port.

Snackö is the southern ferry port and access to Kumlinge. From the southern port of Kumlingen (Snäckö) take the ferry m/s Ejdern 1-2 times a day to the port of Långnäs in the municipality of Lumparland. The trip takes 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is a fee. Mariehamn is then about 30 minutes by car from Långnäs. You can also take the bus. Note: Some ferry connections only run between Snäckö-Överö (Föglö), from where you have to drive 17 km to the port of Degerby and from there take the ferry m/s Skarven to the main island of Åland. The ferry to Seglinge also leaves from here, duration 7 minutes. It runs as needed, there are certain breaks in the timetable. Tip: Worthwhile excursion destinations in Kumlinge are the Kumlinge church with medieval wall paintings, the local pharmacy and the Hermas farm in Enklinge. If you are looking for an exciting archipelago adventure, you should rent a tour boat with a guide. Otherwise, you can enjoy the view from the old Bärö maritime surveillance station, take the cable ferry to Seglinge or continue your archipelago trip from Snäckö towards the south. https://saaristolautat.fi/

Sights in Kumlinge: CHURCH A visit to Kumlinge is a must, and a visit to the church is a must. In the armory there are brochures telling about the history of the church and the beautiful wall paintings. Even the young people who work in the church in the summer can tell you about this most important attraction in Kumlinge. The church is located about a kilometer from the center of Kumlingen and is open from June 17th to August 3rd, 2024, Mon-Sat from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Midsummer Eve, the church is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and closed on Midsummer Day. CULTURAL CENTER The Kumlingen Village Committee started a major project in 2012: The goal is to convert the former state school into a meeting place for villagers, visitors and culture. The Kumlingen Cultural Center is located in the middle of the village. There are various exhibitions to see in the summer. Music evenings and market sales are also organized in the area, local announcements report on the events of the summer of 2024. For more information, please contact Airi Pettersson, tel. 045 734 254 17 Pharmacy, Kumlinge The pharmacy near the village of Kumlingen has retained its old style and atmosphere. It is the only pharmacy in the Åland archipelago. You should definitely buy a plaster, because as soon as you enter this old building you feel the rustle of the wings of history! The pharmacy is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (in July the lunch break is from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.). kumlingeapotek MEMORIAL STONE The stone stands on the rock next to the pharmacy and commemorates the Battle of Kumlinge in May 1808, when a hundred brave Kumlinge people defeated a Russian battalion in the fields below the rock. The information board at the foot of the rock provides more information about these important moments in Kumling's history. Mine stones AIRBORNE BEACON The Kumlingen Airbeacon was built in 1937, when regular mail traffic by aircraft required beacons to indicate direction. The function of the airbeacon was thus the same as that of the sea beacons: to indicate direction. The island's airbeacon stands on a rock about a kilometre east of the centre of Kumlingen.
