This spot is now a bit blocked by a fallen tree and overgrown nature, but still not completely inaccessible. Heads up, though, the eastern part of the trail is almost fully impractical. Too many fallen trees bar the way and the overgrown vegetation makes finding the trail quite impossible. (Summer hiking). The path is not maintained at all

Beautiful lake in the midst of Kauhaneva-Pohjankangas National Park. You can run around and even jump in for a refreshing swim – there is a bathing pier.

The Kauhalammi Trail is a nice short round-trip. It takes you deeper into Pohjankangas National Park with its scenic boardwalks, small forests and the shimmering Kauhalammi, which translates to cow pond.
