It's often windy on the dike, but if you make sure you're facing the right direction, it's a very pleasant route. Even in summer, when flies and mosquitoes are plentiful, always try to ride with the wind at your back.

Public 18-hole golf course. While other polder courses are often flat, De Vlietlanden boasts a course with numerous elevation changes and abundant vegetation. The course is located close to the A7 motorway, about a 30-minute drive from Amsterdam. We don't have tee times; simply come by and enjoy playing. The course is a qualifying course, and everyone is welcome. In the restaurant/brasserie, you'll be served by the staff of Hartje 2.0. We prioritize meeting people, conviviality, and, of course, the game of golf. New players also receive a warm welcome. Our practice facilities are free, even for non-members.
