Molen 't Slot is a grain mill. Molen 't Slot stands near the old town center, in a beautiful spot along the Hollandse IJssel River on the city ramparts. The dark green beard with a white border reads: 't Slot ANNO 1832. As early as 1581, the city council granted permission to build a grain mill on this site on the foundations of the recently demolished castle of the Heeren van Ter Gouw.
